I grew up in Rockland County in an old Revolutionary War farmhouse. The daughter of two teachers, and history buffs, I realized early on what my calling truly was. After graduating from Clarkstown High School North, I attended SUNY New Paltz. Four years later, I graduated with degrees in both Childhood Education and History. In 2006 I graduated again from SUNY New Paltz, this time with my Masters in Special Education.

For the past ten years I have worked in both third and fourth grade. For the past eight years, I have co-taught with Mrs. Sinforoso. I spent the last few years studying the English language and how to best teach struggling readers how to read. I am very excited to be using these skills to teach a specialized reading program.
In my spare time I enjoy running, reading, Pilates, and teaching a barre class. I also greatly enjoy going to the beach and spending time with my family, especially my two daughters. Sophia is 5 and will be staring Kindergarten this fall! Emma is 3 and loves to do everything her big sister does!
I am looking forward to another great year at Lenape School!
