Anticipated Vacancies:

 

 

School Bus Dispatcher – Full-time (12 month).  Effective July 1, 2013. 

The employee is responsible for answering phones,dispatching school buses as well as monitoring bus radio transmissions.  Drives a school bus when necessary.  Related work as required.  Position requires possession of a New YorkState CDL Class B license with Passenger Endorsement and School BusEndorsements.  Must meet DOT physicalrequirement.  Five years experiencedriving a school bus is desired. Experience as School Bus Dispatcher a plus.  19 A and SBDI certification a plus.

 

Salary Range $38,000 - $42,000.

Crossing Guard

New Paltz Middle School. Hours: 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. (or 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.) and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please be advised a background check and brief training session by New Paltz Police Department is required. School Food Service - Substitute - Salary $10.50 per hour
Substitutes replace food service employees who are sick or on medical leave and work on an "as needed" basis. Substitutes are given advance notice whenever possible. Apply to Michael Robinson at the address below.

Substitute Teachers Aide(s)
Working in a classroom environment with children. Salary $10.50 per hour.

Substitute School Monitor(s)
Working within the school environment with children.  Salary $9.00 per hour.

Substitute Custodial Worker(s) – Civil Service Labor Class
Should have experience with heavy cleaning, use of power equipment, preferably within a school atmosphere.  Salary $11.00 per hour.

Substitute Maintenance Worker
Experience with grounds work and use of power equipment within a school atmosphere.  Also knowledge of building maintenance and repair practives.  Ability to maintain records and carry out detailed instructions.  Salary $15.00 per hour.

Substitute Clerical
Responsibilities to include:  Typing, answering phones, general office duties.  Salary - $12.00 per hour.
