Welcome to the New Paltz Middle School PTA
The New Paltz Middle School PTA follows the NYS PTA guidelines and supports its mission statement to benefit all Middle School students.
Our Scholarship Program exists for our students and directly helps in many ways. Two examples would be; assisting students in need so no one feels left behind and acknowledging students who have read 25 books or more during the school year. We are planning a Scholarship Auction this year, if you would like to donate a new item, service or gift certificate, please contact a PTA officer.
Our Cultural Arts Program enhances classroom learning by offering enriching activities such as; safety and awareness assemblies, plays and visiting authors.
Our terrific chairpeople and dedicated volunteers, make our talent show, co-recs, play, book fair, 8th grade moving-up day, 6th grade orientation and staff appreciation day possible.
Parent support is greatly appreciated whether you volunteer or become a member. Membership does not mean you have to attend every PTA meeting, but members can vote at meetings. You do not need to be a member to attend a meeting or help at an event. Volunteering is fun and keeps parents involved. Our Membership drive runs from August through March and if you wish to become a member, please click on the link and fill out the membership form and return it to the PTA mailbox in the New Paltz Middle School Main Office, 196 Main Street, New Paltz NY 12561.
Another way you can help is by making a donation. Whatever amount you feel comfortable with would be appreciated and put to good use for our students.
Upcoming Events:
PTA Meetings begin at 6pm in the Middle School Library - The April 12th PTA meeting has been changed to April 23 at 6pm in the library. If you have an interest in becoming a PTA officer, we welcome you to attend the April meeting. Last two meeting for this school year will be May 14 & June 11.
