Pre-Kindergarten ENROLLMENT for the 2023-24 school year is open! 

Welcome to the future Class of 2037!

The Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) is partially funded by the New York State Education Department's Universal Pre-K grant as well as a collaboration between the New Paltz Central School District (NPCSD)  and HealthyKids Programs. There is NO COST to parents and guardians!

🍎 We anticipate four (4) all-day classes with roughly 18 students to be held in the Duzine Elementary school building.  


🍎 Our full-day Pre-K is open to all NPCSD residents who will be four (4) years old by December 1, 2023. 

🍎 Before/Aftercare will be offered for students who need to be dropped off early/picked up later. There is an additional charge for this service. 


🍎 Classes will be taught by NPCSD employees as well as employees from Community-Based Organizations. 


🍎 The program is at NO COST to parents and guardians. 


🍎 All classes will have special area classes, such as Physical Education, Music, Art, and Library. 


🍎 All Pre-K classrooms will follow the same curriculum.
