5 cups of flour
a handful of sugar
a packet of yeast
a bit of salt (teaspoon)
one cup of HOT water
yeast and sugar in the water-- fully dissolve the yeast and sugar
dump that into a big bowl, stir in the five cups of flour. add the flour slowly. also, you may need a little extra hot water.
the stuff from the bowl on a lightly floured cutting board until it stops sticking to you-- this usually takes about fifteen minutes. Mix it until it is like play-doh; then let it rise for an hour.
the dough into a big circle. do this gradually, so you don't tear holes in it.
you cook it for 15 minutes at 450 degrees, then
sauce, cheese, and whatever toppings you prefer. cook it until the cheese bubbles, or beyond if you like burned food
