Web Page Creation Instructions:

1.  Assign responsibility for gathering info in the following areas:

    politics (foreign and domestic), civil rights, trends/movements, Media/the news, art, technology, urban life, rural life, economics (foreign and domestic), literature, music, medicine/science, major conflicts, religion/family, major court cases, fads, tv/movies/radio/entertainment, education, watershed events, miscellaneous fun facts.

2.  Go to front page, then clik open, classes, bartlett, your block, and your decade.  Create an index with the twenty clickable links listed above (the page is there, but you need to modify it to suit your needs)  to link, open a new page, put stuff there, save as, and hyperlink.  if you get stuck, see me or ms. valk for help.

3.  generate webs for each link.  be sure that you links function properly, and cite all your sources.  provide commentary in your words for all the info you collect, and cite sources.  oh yes, just a reminder- cite your sources, even when you paraphrase.

4.  work is due on 7 April 2006.

5. NOTE:  when you open the web for your decade, you then open the index, and link all your work to the index.

when saving pages, and when linking pages, make sure they save in you web, not the c drive.

6.  Over the break, you will read and assess (strengths and weaknesses) each other decade.  more on this later.
