Meeting was called to order at 6:12 PM by Roderick Dressel Jr., Board President.

David Dukler was appointed by President Dressel as Clerk Pro Tempore.
EXECUTIVE SESSION EXECUTIVE
Motion made by Don Kerr and seconded by Laura Walls that the Board of SESSION
Education move into Executive Session at 6:14 PM for the purpose of discussing
contract negotiations and the employment history of a particular corporation.
Motion carried 6 - 0 with 0 members voting.
Out of Executive Session - Motion made by Laura Walls and seconded by
Michael Swigart that the Board return to Public Session at 7:00 PM.
Motion carried 6 - 0 with 6 members voting.

SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORTS & DISCUSSION ITEMS
Ø SUPERINTENDENT COMMENTS – Superintendent Maria Rice announced a new transportation plan implemented to respond to today’s flooding. Transportation Director, Maureen Ryan, was on had to make additional comments and answer questions.
Ø 2008-2009 BUDGET DISCUSSION – This evening was the initial presentation of the 2008-2009 Budget described as fluid at this date due to the time of year. Discussion ensued by members of the board providing feedback and setting parameters for the Superintendent of Schools to come back to the board with revisions.
ADJOURN – Motion Failed
Motion made by Laura Walls and seconded by David Dukler to adjourn at 9:30 PM
Motion failed 2 YES (Laura Walls, David Dukler) to 4 NO (Rod Dressel, Don Kerr, Patrick Rausch, Mike Swigart) with 6 members voting.

adjourn at 10:32 PM.
