Recommendation - that the New Paltz Central Schools Board of Education accept the minutes of the Regular Workshop Meeting of April 9, 2008.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approve the proposed 2008-2009 Ulster BOCES Administrative
Budget in the amount of $2,255,114.00.
14.2 Election of Board Members to the Ulster County Board of Cooperative Educational Services
Recommendation – that the following resolution be approved:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education exercise their voting rights regarding the nominated candidates for the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of the Sole Supervisory District of Ulster County by casting their vote for the following Nominated Candidates:

14.3 Request for Approval to Adopt the 2008-2009 School District Budget
Recommendation – that the following resolution be approved:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the New Paltz Central School District adopt a budget of forty eight million one hundred ninety three thousand dollars ($48,193,000) for school district purposes for the school year July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 to be presented to the voters on May 20, 2008.

14.6 Request for Approval of Contract with the Town of Gardiner for School Bus Usage
Recommendation - that the New Paltz Central Schools Board of Education, upon the recommendation of Maria C. Rice, Superintendent of Schools, does hereby approve the 2008-2009 Summer Recreation Transportation Agreement with the Town of Gardiner for the use of district buses at a reimbursement rate of $2.42 per mile.
14.7 Request for Approval to Execute Settlement Agreement between the District and Communications Workers of America to Resolve Grievance #52
Recommendation – that the Board of Education approve the following resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education hereby approves the terms of and authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to execute a Settlement Agreement between the District and the Communication Workers of America dated March 11, 2008 resolving CWA Grievance #52 as presented to the Board of Education at this meeting. A copy of said agreement shall be incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting.
14.8 Request for Approval of RFP (Request for Proposal) for Architectural and Engineering Services
Recommendation – that the Board of Education approve the following resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby approves the Request for Proposals for Architectural and Engineering Services, to be published on April 28, 2008 and received by the District by no later than 3:00 P.M. on Monday, May 12, 2008.
