Board of Education Seeks Volunteers to Serve on Board Committees 

The Board is seeking community volunteers with expertise in construction, architecture, facilities project management, facilities planning or related fields to serve on the Facilities Committee for a two-year term. The Facilities Committee assists the Board of Education in providing oversight and support to the administration and staff of the district, and advises and makes recommendations to the full Board action pertaining to the district's facilities.

The Board is also seeking volunteers with expertise in finance to serve on the Audit Committee for a two-year term. The Audit Committee assists the Board in carrying out fiscal oversight responsibilities.

Interested parties are invited to send a letter of interest and resume by August 14th to: Sandy Ermo, District Clerk at sermo@newpaltz.k12.ny.us.

Regular Board Meeting/Public Hearing on the District-wide Safety Plan

Wednesday, August 19th, 5:30 PM, to be held at the New Paltz High School Audion. Executive Session-Subject to Board Approval. The Draft District-wide School Safety Plan with the proposed changes is posted here. The required public comment period is from July 20th through August 18th. Click on Public Comment Form to submit comments.
