    Graduation Information

     Dear Seniors and Parents:

                 Graduation will be held Wednesday, June 26th at 6:00 p.m. at the Hawks Athletic and Wellness Center on the campus of SUNY New Paltz. A reception in the Elting Gymnasium will follow, sponsored by the PTSA. All seniors are expected to arrive at graduation on Wednesday, June 26th by 5:00 p.m. sharp. Unlimited seating and parking will be available.

                 Graduation is an honored event. Students who take part in the ceremony must wear the cap and gown. Proper attire, including dress pants, dress shoes or dress sandals (no sneakers), collar shirts and ties are expected. Students who are not properly attired may be removed from the procession by the administration.

                 Graduation rehearsal will be held in the High School auditorium on Monday, June 24th at 9 a.m. Seniors who intend to take part in the graduation ceremony must attend rehearsal. Caps and gowns will be distributed at rehearsal. All school fees (i.e., lost athletic equipment, lost textbooks, etc.) must be paid prior to receiving the cap and gown.

                Following rehearsal on Monday, June 24th at at 10:45 a.m., seniors will participate in the "Walk of Fame" through Duzine Elementary School. Busses will transport seniors to and from Duzine Elementary School.

    Following the "Walk of Fame" on Monday, June 24th at 12 p.m. the PTSA will provide a Senior Lunch in the high school cafeteria. 



    Important cap and gown information:

    Seniors wishing to participate in graduation must have a cap and gown. A senior class meeting was held on December 4th to distribute order forms and information. Seniors were able to order during Block 3 on December 11th.

    Seniors may also place the order online at www.jostens.com   or by calling 1 -800-JOSTENS (567-8367).  The Jostens 800 number is open during and after school hours. 


    The web site is easy to use but if help is needed, please call the 800 number and the customer service representatives can help walk you through the process.


    Please place the order online ASAP in order to avoid paying additional shipping fees.
