Duzine STREAM's Trout Swimming in a New Stream Now

Duzine Elementary School’s Kathryn Gulitti and Lauren Cope's Grade 2 students joined Melissa Manning's kindergarten students to bid farewell to the trout hatched and raised in the school’s new STREAM education room. The group of honorary trout guardians went to Black Creek Preserve in Ulster Park to release the trout into the creek where they also searched for macroinvertebrates, timed the flow of the stream, and made observations in nature. We applaud all the hard work and efforts of our students and their teachers and aides!
