Lenape Students Board the Clearwater Sloop

Paulette Houston and Adrienne Maley’s Grade 4 classes donned their skipper hats and climbed aboard the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater at Kingston Home Port and Education Center for an enjoyable tour under gray skies. Many thanks to the Clearwater educators who spoke about the ecology and marine life within the water as well as environmental issues facing the Hudson River. So much to learn!
