Duzine Students Send Their Hearts to Seniors

Students in Matt Elkin’s Grade 1 class in Duzine Elementary School made Valentine’s Day cards with a group of special recipients in mind. State Senator Michelle Hinchey (SD-46) is hosting a “Valentines for Seniors” card drive, encouraging New Yorkers to craft Valentine’s Day cards for residents of area nursing homes. Mr. Elkin’s students answered the call, putting their hearts into making beautifully decorated cards to send nursing home residents.
