Duziners Make Moves for Black History Month

Recently, Drew and Malik Andrews and Lisa Brown from the Center for Creative Education (CCE)  in Kingston brought their drums and their moves to Duzine Elementary School to raise the roof with some movement and joy. The Duziners were treated to professional dance lessons in a special schoolwide “Town Hall” assembly in honor of Black History month. It is said that dance is the practice of joy, which would explain the smiles, laughter, and levity that filled the gymnasium as students followed along with the drumming and let their bodies move to the beats. We only wish we could bottle all those good vibes! #CenterForCreativeEducation #DanceDanceDance #DuzineProud #BlackHistoryMonth #PracticeJoyThroughDance
