The first-ever New Paltz Staff versus Staff, and Staff versus Student volleyball tournaments were an epic success. The Middle School staff’s team lost two out of three rounds to the High School (HS) staff in a highly competitive game. Spectators enjoyed a halftime show with a demonstration by the Modified and Junior Varsity Volleyball players. The second half of the tournament saw the Varsity Girls Volleyball team defeat the HS staff team in two sets. The event was organized by the HS Interact Club and took in over $800, with $200 going to Bethany’s Happy Bags for the Homeless and the remainder earmarked for prom expenses and future events.
