New Paltz Central School District

The New Paltz Central School District participates in the Weekend Backpack child nutrition program, which is sponsored by the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley and coordinated by the New Paltz Rotary. The Weekend Backpack program helps struggling parents and families by discreetly providing children with backpacks filled with child-friendly, healthy food at the end of the school day on Fridays to enjoy over the weekend. Parents and families interested in signing up for the program should email their child's school social worker.
