Meredith Oppenheimer and Erin Bulson’s Grade 4 class in Lenape Elementary School have been working hard on punctuation, reading accuracy, and proficiency to continue developing their fluency, so they invited their parents and families to a choral reading of Barbara Vance’s “Perfect Cup of Cocoa” to share their progress firsthand! After the recitation, students, families, and teachers enjoyed hot chocolate together and toured the students’ impressive work on Iroquois and Algonquin housing and lifestyles. This perfect cup of cocoa warmed every heart for the holiday season!
