Lenape Elementary Students WoLenape Elementary School Grade 5 students in Elaine Thomas’s class recently invited their families to a special presentation on natural disasters. Students greeted their guests at the school entryway and politely escorted each person to their seats in the classroom, where impressive homemade models and colorful project exhibits of historic incidents with volcanoes, hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, and more were on display. Lenape Elementary School students had a blast at their annual Pumpkin Fest recently. The New Paltz High School’s Participation in Government, Literature, and Economics for Today’s Students (PIGLETS) class helped staff seven activity stations to continue developing relationships with some of the District’s younger students. Lenape Elementary School students in Linda Sinforoso and Joanna Wilcox’s Grade 3 class recently played a Frog Jump game on a giant number line, using kinesthetic movement to reinforce addition and multiplication skills. Activities like this always add up to a good time!
