Students in Ellen Makow’s Grade 3 class applied their creativity and math skills by opening their very own Valentine’s Day Shop! They designed signs and advertisements, took inventory, and even made a special handmade item to sell. 

 

Lenape students shopped using "frog bucks," while Makow's students practiced their subtraction skills, writing receipts for each purchase. 

 

Hands-on learning has never been sweeter!
