Grade 5 Natural Disaster Projects
Grade 5 students led by teachers Elaine Thomas and Kristin Lown delved into the world of natural disasters for a recent research project. Covering everything from mudslides to tornadoes to hurricanes, these young scholars delivered their findings in a live showcase with enthusiasm, expertise, and creativity. A big shoutout to all the families who joined us to witness the impressive presentations!

Morgan Profaci’s Grade 5 students are working on food-inspired pop art for a good cause! After being submitted to Square 1 Art, the students' delightful designs will be recreated on a variety of keepsakes to raise funds for the Duzine/Lenape Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

Trina Naclerio's Grade 4 class is delving deep into the history of Jim Crow laws. Naclerio transformed her classroom into an enlightening gallery walk. Stations were populated with compelling primary sources that challenged students to discern the rights being restricted in each example. Engaging in thoughtful exploration, the students undertook an insightful journey through history.
