Students Transport Audiences to America’s Colonial Period
Meredith Oppenheimer and Erin Bulson's Grade 4 class at Lenape Elementary took audiences on a trip back in time with their incredible production, "Liberty’s Path: The Journey Through America’s Colonial Period"!
The students did an exceptional job, showcasing their talent, public speaking skills, and dedication. Their hard work truly paid off, making history come alive on stage.
Special thanks to the wonderful New Paltz Foundation for Student Enhancement for funding this project.
The New Paltz ReUse Center also played a key role in this production for the second year in a row, hosting a field trip that inspired our students to be creative environmental stewards. All the fabric used for set designs was sourced from the ReUse Center.
And a huge shoutout to our student choreographer Mairead Goudy and Michael Zaccaria, who crafted a life-sized, confetti-shooting cannon that added an extra touch of excitement!
Bravo to everyone on stage and behind the scenes for making history come alive.
