The Art Department at Lenape Elementary School recently held a schoolwide autumn-themed stamp design contest for its in-house student postal service. In addition to creating an original drawing, the student artists were also tasked with explaining what their stamp was about, why they chose to create the design, and why their stamp should be chosen. A winning design was selected in each grade. All of the stamp design submissions are currently on display at the school. Congratulations to the winners and the other student artists on their beautiful work!
