• **~Meet Mrs. Sinforoso~**

      

    I have been teaching in New Paltz for 18 years.  I am so excited to be teaching math this year! Prior to teaching in New Paltz, I taught middle school computers in Warwick Valley and first grade in the Bronx.  There are times I can't believe I’ve been teaching for over twenty years.  They do say time flies when you are having fun!

     

    I grew up in Queens, NY with my mom and dad, my sister Eileen, and our two dogs, Pepper and Hercules.  There I attended Queens College and earned a dual degree in Sociology and Early Childhood/Elementary Education.  I later received my masters in Educational Technology from Mercy College.

     

    I met my husband, Joe, in Queens and we moved to Poughkeepsie after we were married in 1998.

    Lulu joined our family in 2015!

     

    Some of my favorite things to do outside of school are spend time with my family, read, go for walks with my dog, Lulu, and watch my favorite sports teams -the Mets, the Giants, and the Rangers.

     

    It is my goal to create a classroom where all students feel safe enough to take risks in their learning. We will work together to create a community of learners who respect one another, are kind to each other, work hard, make mistakes, giggle often, and always strive to their very best.
