Principals Search Interview Committees
An interview committee for each level (elementary and high school) will be created. The committees will be limited in size, but will include parent representatives from four groups: parents of general education students, parents of color, parents of students with disabilities, and parents of English as a New Language (ENL) students. If you are an interested parent in the relevant schools and would like to be considered for the Interview Committee the application may be found here:

Survey to Help Inform Leadership Profile for New Principals
As you know there is a vacancy for High School Principal since long-time High School principal Barbara Clinton, announced her retirement on Wednesday, March 13.
Additional principal vacancies were created by Debra Hogencamp’s retirement from Duzine Elementary School and the recent resignation of Lenape principal Dr. Tarkan Ceng. The New Paltz Central School District has obtained the services of HYA, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, an educational recruitment firm for assistance in filling these three building leadership openings.
We would like you to help identify the characteristics you desire in the next generation of school building leaders. The characteristics identified will then be used to inform the candidate search and interview process. Community members, parents, students, and staff may provide input on the survey by clicking the links below.
