    Greetings Everyone,

I hope your end of the summer activities are going well.  I am sure you know that the start of school is just around the corner with all faculty and staff returning on September 5th and all students returning on September 6th.

There are a lot of activities happening so I thought I would give you  a quick update so you can fully participate.

Meet the Superintendent and Board Members

In the recent district survey that was conducted, it was clear that all constituent groups are looking for improved communication from the district.  In an effort to respond to this, we have scheduled a cook out that is open to all people interested in the success of the NPCSD.  At this cookout you will have the opportunity to chat with the Superintendent, board members, and other district leaders.  It will be a nice opportunity to express your thoughts and ask questions.  We hope you will be able to attend, even if it is just to say hello.  The event will take place outside of the cafeteria on the north side of the building.

    New School Board Member

At our board meeting on August 16th, the school board appointed Mr. Jason Clark to fill the school board seat recently vacated by Ms. Bianca Tanis.  Mr. Clark will fill the seat at least until the next school board election next May.  Mr. Clark ran for the board in May 2023 when he was the third highest vote getter in a race for two vacant seats.  Mr. Clark will now join new board members Ms. Liz Bonhag and Ms. Heather Kort, along with veteran board members President Johanna Herget, Vice President Heather O’Donnell, Mr. Matthew Willliams and Mr. Glen LaPolt on the seven member board.  I would like to welcome Mr. Clark to the board and to thank him and the other board members for their service to the district.
