Lenape Students Recreate Human Organs

Recently, Lenape Elementary School students in Meredith Oppenheimer and Erin Bulson’s Grade 4 classroom learned about the human body systems in Science. Each student was assigned an organ, which they researched and then created models using salt dough. At the conclusion of the project, classroom students will do a “museum walk” of the finalized models and be able to learn about each organ by viewing the research conducted by the project designer. The organs will be on exhibit in Lenape’s main display case in the hallway. It is very exciting to see our students learning about how our bodies work!
