Lenape Students Become Hot Chocolate Historians

Lenape Elementary School’s Grade 3 students in the class of Linda Sinforoso, Joanna Wilcox and Amy Chapman read "The Chocolate King" by Michael Leventhal, a historical tale about how chocolate first came to France. The students learned how drinking hot cocoa originated with the Mayan people, was brought to Spain and then the rest of Europe. How do you think the students celebrated their delicious new knowledge? Sip, sip, slurp! You got it!
