Congratulations to the High School’s Girls and Boys Nordic Ski Teams, who both won their Sectional Meets at Gore Mountain last week! Students competed on a 7.5K skate race with challenging terrain and won their meets regardless of the single digit windchill temps.   

 

Congratulations to Becket Evans (Grade 12), who won the boys race, earning him the title of Section 9 Nordic Champion! 

 

And a big shout out to the following members who have qualified for the State Meet:

 

Girls: Hannah Ettinger (Grade 12), Dylan Freidman (Grade 10), Roxy DeNey-Bhagat (Grade 11), Rory Gerger (Grade 12) 

 

Boys: Beckett Evans, Matei Jirka (Grade 9), Henry Wheeler (Grade 12), Sam Hollman (Grade 11) 

 

All of these students, as well as Clio Miller (Grade 10), also earned Sectional Medals. Way to go, New Paltz!
