Six articles-- INSTRUCTIONS!

1.  You must answer all the English questions--

Who was involved?

What happened?

When did it happen?

Where did it happen?

Why did it happen?

How did it happen?

 

2.  Explain why the first world war happened

 

3.  Describe the nature of WW1

 

4.  Explain why the US entered the war.

 

5.  What did the US do to prepare itself for the war?

 

6.  How much of an impact did the US have in the war?

 

7.  How much of an impact did the war have on the US?

 

8.  Prepare a news article for each question.  Every news article must do #1, must have an image (photo, cartoon, artists rendering)

 

9.  Must have used all the vocab words by the time the six are written

 

10.  Make an earnest attempt to emulate the tone and style of the New York Times.  Okay to use real news to surround the articles you write.  Dates and names must be real for your articles

 

11.  In the body of the work, vocab must be in bold so its easy to spot.
