Every Wednesday after school, ethereal voices rise and crescendo to the striking of piano key notes and can be heard throughout the hallways of the High School thanks to the A Cappella Club. The New Paltz Central School District Board of Education (BOE) has welcomed Grade 12 student Julia Crofton of Gardiner, the Board’s new student representative for the 2022-2023 school year. Julia is responsible for preparing and presenting regular reports on student life and concerns to the BOE. A group of students from New Paltz High School was treated to an afternoon that delighted the senses at the new Van Gogh Immersive Experience in Schenectady.
New Paltz High School’s (NPHS) Peer Leadership Club recently introduced “Teen A La Carte”–formerly known as the Teen Closet–where all students can go for personal hygiene necessities they may need or want, such as deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, body wash, toothbrushes, socks, floss, menstrual products, water, combs, hair spray, shaving cream, stain removal sticks,and more.
