I hope this email finds you and your family well. I wanted to reach out to all parents during this uncertain time to clarify how our "classroom" will work over the course of the next two weeks, and beyond if needed. 

 

We will be using google classroom as our online learning platform. If your child does not have the needed technology, please fill out the survey on the district's website.

 

Per the district, assignments at this point are suggested and only feedback will be given, not numerical grades. With that being said though, I will post a weeks worth of work into google classroom (about 3 lessons). Assignments will be posted on Sunday nights. It is highly suggested that your child completes the assignments so that they stay on track with the content. I have also posted a suggested schedule to help students manage their time on each assignment. None of the assignments are meant to overwhelm them and I have tried to create materials that stay true to the integrity of our classroom (not just notes and textbook readings). 

 

Additionally, I will hold "office hours" every day from 9:30-10:30 where I will immediately  respond to emails. Students can contact me if they have any questions with the assignments and I will support them to the best of my ability.
