• ULSTER BOCES CTE

    Students in 11th and 12th grades can attend Ulster Boces Career and Technical Education Center (CTE) and participate in hands-on learning. Offerings range from graphic design to small engine technology to cosmetology and culinary arts. Students in the program can go out into the real world with working resumes, and they often go on to additional technical training and/or college. 

    Courses fill up quickly, so it's best to stop into the Student Support Center to get an application or request a scanned version via email from Becky Paddock-Stange at rstange@newpaltz.k12.ny.us or Nicole DiPaola at ndipaola@newpaltz.k12.ny.us. Return completed forms to the Student Support Center for processing. Applications generally take place in the spring for the following school year.     ULSTER BOCES PRE-UNIVERSITY/NEW VISIONS

    Students in 12th grade can apply to Ulster Boces Pre-University/New Visions Career Exploration. These rigorous programs place high school seniors beside local professionals, giving them an opportunity to witness the translation of knowledge into performance. These courses provides a college-bound student with the information and experience necessary to make informed career choices.
