• In preparation for the January 26, 2021 College Board’s PSAT, please note that all registrations and payments are taking place through Total Registration.  Students can register and pay for the PSAT here:

    New Paltz High School will host College Board’s PSAT on January 26, 2021 if the College Board does not cancel the exam and if the school district has not closed due to COVID related closures.  If either PSAT cancels or the District closes, there will not be a PSAT this calendar year.  Due to the uncertainty of the current pandemic, please realize this may occur.  If the PSAT does take place in January, your school counselor will be posting the rooms for the exam and they are a good resource for further questions.


    If your child is interested in a PSAT practice test and sample questions, please go to College Board:



    The PSAT is designed as a practice test to the SAT.  It is not mandatory to take the PSAT and the score is not part of a student’s official SAT scores.  If your child has College Board approved testing accommodations, please be sure to enter their SSD number during registration.  If you encounter any concerns with this, please email Samantha Brady at
