    Folder / Homework / Journal

    You will need to keep a Principles of Engineering notebook with all preliminary notes, planning and design development.
    Also, Include all activities.   Keep this work neat and organized. Homework assignments will be collected at the beginning of class of the date it is due.  Choosing to not complete homework results in your grade dropping by     15 %.

    Portfolio

    We will reserve a section of your binder for documentation of your final results of building and design projects.
    Include these images with your technical reports in your portfolio.
    Your portfolio will be collected every semester for review and grading 15%

    Quizzes/ Reports/ Presentations

    There are quizzes, reports, and presentations periodically throughout the unit assessing student understanding of the information. 30%

    Projects/ Tests

    Projects and Unit tests will be completed throughout all the units and are designed to assess student understanding and application of information. Projects may be completed individually or at times in groups. All group members must actively participate in the activity. All work must be completed on time since most activities will be worked on in class. Use your time efficiently and effectively. Late projects will result in a 10% penalty per class day. 40%

    #2 pencil or Mechanical Pencil

    Pen (Black Ink)
     
    Extra Help
     
    Extra help will be offered each week Mon., Wed., and Fri. in lab 210 from 2:20 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
     
    Please take advantage of the extra time so that you do not fall behind.
    Need Help? Just Ask!  If the times that I have scheduled do not work please schedule an alternative
    time.
    Please sign in and out of the lab to document extra time spent. Please do not misuse the after school time. Anyone not actively working will be asked to leave.
